Würth Group established Würth Lanka in 1998 as a direct branch office under the Board of Investment regulations and was set up as a 100% owned subsidiary of Würth International AG. Würth Lanka started business in the Automotive Aftermarket and has steadily grown to be a significant player in the automotive aftermarket as a premium quality supplier of after care products and services including 100% requirement of the auto after market with tools, fasteners, performance chemicals and maintenance chemicals, detailing products, garage equipment, and safety products which now has diversified into Construction, Trade and Metal/Maintenance industries.
Being a direct subsidiary and branch office of the Würth Group, Würth is in the number one position in all industries it serves, be it the product range, quality or after sales. Wurth took another futuristic step in expanding and servicing customers faster by moving into the new facility in Makumbura, Pannipitiya.
Würth (Lanka) was established in March,1998 with only one member. The first office of Würth (Lanka) was established in 2000 and made its first sale in the same year.
